Set up shop context

Basics, catalog, FAQs, and delivery — the facts Timi uses so buyer answers stay accurate.

  1. Step 1

    Basics

Business name, an About section (at least 150 characters — how you talk to buyers), then Physical shop (address) or Online (website URL).

    Start basics
  2. Step 2

    Catalog

Add products any way that fits: sync WhatsApp catalog, paste a website, upload a PDF/menu photo (max 10 MB), paste text, or type manually. Timi keeps up to 100 products.

    Add catalog
  3. Step 3

    FAQs

Add the questions you answer every day — shipping, returns, hours, payment, location. Templates are there to speed you up.

    Add FAQs
  4. Step 4

    Delivery and payout

Where you dispatch from, same-day cutoff if you have one, zones with fees (city presets help), and how you get paid (Till, Paybill, M-Pesa, or Paystack).

    Add delivery

Tips

  • Clarity beats length: twenty solid product lines beat three pages of marketing copy.
  • Use JPEG or PNG for product photos — WebP images are skipped for WhatsApp product cards.
  • You can edit anything later under Settings → Shop context.
